So one of the nice things about the iPod is how it charges while plugged into your comp.
I drove back to Tampa and used the iPod for about 5 hours. All I brought was my USB cord because i was going to rely on my sisters power book.
Well, I ran the battery down so much I need my wall charger and or Firewire cable.
Thus, I have a nice long ride home with no music, unless someone gots a charger.
I don't know why I bother with LJ.

I hardly use the internet anymore. Sometimes I miss it, but most of the time I don't.
All I use it for is Banking, Occasional LJ read (nothing too interesting lately), and for the 3 emails I get all month.
It's totally dead.
Either that or I grew up a bit more.

Hi, I barely even read this thing any more, much less update it.
So yeah, things are good. Heather and I are at an even higher level, I have even more respect and admiration for her. This will never get old, just better. I'd say 80 percent of our time together is spent in conversation. That has to be the most gratifying thing for me.
So yeah, it's also almost my birthday, I'll be 20. I have this history of not telling anyone until the day, and they always get pissed off when they find out. So I guess I'll throw it out there. So yeah, November 6th. Nothing big going on, just my sister coming into town. I have to work that evening from like 5-10 though, but it'll be cool.
So we may go to TSI on saturday to, but please don't make any mention of the b-day.. mainly because I've been getting wristbands there since they first opened, after all.. I'm only going to be 20, don't wanna blow the one thing going for me at my young nubile age.
So yes, I use the word so a lot.

The American League holds 57 out of 96 World Series Victories. 26 of those 57 were won by The Yankees. The only other teams to ever come close to that is the Phillies and the Red Sox, both with a Wopping 5 victories. Woopty do! If the Red Sox actually make it (and win) they are one step closer to matching the Yankees record.. which, if they become a powerhouse team and make it to the series for every year after, it'll only take them 21 more years to surpass the record.
All in all, even if the Red Sox do win it, nobody will care in a year for now. The only benefit of the Red Sox winning is not having to listen to their fans moan about how terrible there team always was. The only reason a good majority of people like the Red Sox is because they're always the underdog, so if they do win, it'll kill their fan base. They'll become like any other washed up team. The fact that they come so close and always blow it is their mystique. If they loose that, they may become like the Expos (rember them, yeah they're still around).

Erik, Clay, and I completely gutted out the front room. Threw away about 5 years of crap. Josh has maybe 4 items remaining in the house now. Amazing how much more space there actually is. Lots of dust and dirt and junk... but it's over now. Wooo!

Wonderful, 2 un-named people who go by the names of Carrie and The Sug decided to write "Numb Nuts" on my front window with Gummy Letters. Well those sweet little things brought on a huge fireant infestation. All over the front porch. There's also about 10 lizards trying to eat them all. Very odd thing to see in the morning.

I got the 25th Anniversary edition of The Clash's London Calling.
it includes the "Vanilla Tapes" which is all demos and a few unheard songs. The demo version of London Calling is so raw and amazing. I like it more than the studio version. It also has a DVD, which I'm interested in seeing.
Conflict coming up soon.
Our show was terrible last night. But I had fun afterwards.

I delivered 16 pizzas to the backstage of the Jessica SImpson concert tonight.
I got a 4 dollar tip on a 160 dollar order.
Cheap, and lame.
On to better news...
After trying relentlessly to get a US tour, the band CONFLICT (formed in 81) has finally done so.
This band falls into my top 10 favorite punk band category. They are pretty much one of the most well composed punk bands in existence (yes such a thing can exist).
Oct 16th in Tampa.

My house has been with out power since noon on Sunday.
This is lame, boring, and almost depressing. It's pretty much been a routine 3 days. Wake up, eat, do nothing, work, do nothing, sleep.
I've made a few trips to the house but stayed away, all our food rotted and it's really hot. It's also really creepy in total darkness.
So hopefully the power will come back on today and I can finally go home.

I'm sitting here, got an extra hour and a half at work tonight.
It's nice seeing people I know everywhere I go.
Had a get together at the house for Heather. Was a great time, she definitely had a wonderful time.
I'm procrastinating on doing this project, my final. I actually have free time and I don't want to use it.
I'll be in Syracuse in 8 days, and Brooklyn in 12. So. Yup.
So yes, life is great, my friends are awesome, and I have someone that enjoys my company as much as I do hers.

Went to the movies today. Some time around 5 and got out at 12.
Paid to see Stepford Wives. But we stuck around and saw Terminal and Dodgeball as well. 7 hours of movies for 5 bucks is all right with me.

So I'm reading this book "A Confederacy of Dunces."
Well they're in the process of making it a movie. Look at this line-up.

Lily Tomlin - Mrs. Reilly
and LARRY DAVID is considering a part!
Ignatius is supposed to be a really large prissy guy. I'm interested in how this turns out. Thus far it's a really good book.

Past week recap.
-A lot of hangout action. Time to slow it down a bit.
-Imperial for lady's night was ok. Going out is getting kinda lame around here. It's all about sitting around with your friends, not standing.
-Signed my lease.
-Clay is gone for the next 9 days. So i kinda got the house to myself. Erik is still here, floating around.
Not too much else. I'm going to sleep.

So the past few days I.
-Drove to Tampa and back within 14 hours.
-Had the power shut off while I was working on a design project.
-Paid JEA, we now have power and water again.
-Painted my room... almost done.
-Fixed all of the doors in the house that didn't shut.
-Put doors up where doors once were.
-Cleaned the bathroom.
-Gutted and cleaned the fridge and now the kitchen. The walls have a fresh coat of white.
This place should be ready by the weekend, come hang out on memorial day peoples.
p.s. Josh and Roisin... you know that crate that you put all the "clean" dishes in? Yeah, that's where the roaches live lived.
p.p.s. Josh and Roisin, come get the rest of your crap.
